Would You Go to Work Without a Makeup?
On a recent Monday in a New York City office, the women all went to work without makeup on, CBS reports.
"I thought it's such a great idea to take the first day of the week and start fresh and be fresh-faced, and given that we're a health company I thought, ‘Why not, why not go for the full Monty?’" said Alisa Vitti, founder and director of Laughing Sage Wellness.
The Makeup-free Mondays concept comes from Alexis Wolfer, who's spreading the word through her online beauty magazine.
"To maybe take a day of the week and put that focus back on inner beauty and to take the superficiality out of our regular workday," Wolfer said.
