Passive smoking is so dangerous it affects babies in the womb. Several studies have shown that women who breath other people's smoke while they are pregnant have smaller babies.
Babies and young children with parents who smoke have more chest problems because their lungs are small and vulnerable.

By the time children are 12 or 14 they have fewer problems with smoking but not long time after this period they become influenced by their parents, brothers, sisters, relatives or friends and start smoking.

If you reach the age of 18 without smoking, the good news is that you are not likely to start, but you need to be careful who you marry with.
